MP Fayyad: Cabinet Decision to Deploy Army on Northern Border Positive, Bold
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member, Ali Fayyad, confirmed that the "cabinet decision for Lebanese Army deployment on the northern borders is a positive and bold decision."
On this level, MP Fayyad confirmed that [Hizbullah] supports the Lebanese National Army, and backs its role to defend Lebanon and help it maintain its security and stability.
During a ceremony held in the southern village of Babliyeh, marking the 6th year anniversary of the July 2006 "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon, MP Fayyad asserted, "We are currently going through a period in which we drastically need to protect the internal unity, and adhere to the national and Islamic unity and sovereignty."
Addressing that parties that are trying to hinder the performance of the government and its institutions, Fayyad iterated, "We will remain steadfast to the reason of state and stability, and will remain in the position of defending the country to serve our people, and help achieve all their goals on the livelihood, political, and security levels."
