Speaker Berri Nominates Tamam Salam for Heading New Cabinet

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri declared on Friday that the "Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc nominates Tamam Salam for heading a consensual national government."
Following a meeting for the bloc, Berri said: "It is a new page; everyone should cooperate for the future of Lebanon."
"The previous majority should climb the medial ladder with Walid Jublatt, maybe by that we could build a nation," the Lebanese parliament speaker added.
