An official in Bahraini opposition "al-Wefaq Association" Hadi al-Moussawi affirmed that political parties' participation in dialogue aims at "revealing the regime's sham," describing its presence in dialogue sessions as "not a total waste of time, although we can't say that it has all the solutions."

In an interview with the Iranian Fars News Agency, al-Moussawi reminded that "Current sessions are not described as dialogue, rather pre-dialogue sessions," adding, "this is not called dialogue with the absence of the regime or its representative."

"Al-Wefaq Association wants reform that meets the people's demands, and it does not mean individual reforms by that," he added.

Moreover, al-Moussawi deliberated the reality of human rights in Bahrain, noting, "Human rights work wherever is not magic and its results just pop up, but is rather accumulated," highlighting, "This work is a conflict between the rights activist's will and the rights violator."
