Al-Nusra Front Tears down Prophet Ibrahim’s Shrine in Syria

The internet circulated a video on Thursday showing scenes of Takfiri militants in al-Nusra Front tearing down Prophet Ibrahim's Holy Shrine in Ain al-Arous village, north of the Nusra Front-controlled al-Raqqa city.

The video showed armed veiled men, protecting a bulldozer that tore down the Shrine's walls.

The Shrine is considered a historic and religious landmark and sanctity for Muslims worldwide.

This desecration is not the first; al-Nusra Front had desecrated earlier this month Prophet Mohammad's Companion Hujr Bin Adi's shrine by exhuming the tomb and vandalizing the shrine.

Also, al-Nusra Front had bombed many places of worship belonging to many sects and religions, and exhumed many graves in several Syrian provinces, as well as beheading the statue of the poet of philosophers Abu Alaa al-Maari in Edlib's countryside.
