Iran Congratulates Syrian Army, People on Al-Qseir Victory

Iran congratulated the Syrian army and people on Wednesday for their victory over rebels after seizing the strategic town of al-Qseir, Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said.
Tehran "congratulates the victory of the Syrian army and people over the Takfiri terrorists," Abdollahian said.
"Certain parties continue to send arms and support terrorist actions in Syria," Abdollahian added, saying they "are responsible for massacres and destruction in Syria and should be tried for war crimes."
Syria's state television reported that Syrian forces have regained full control of the strategic city of al-Qseir following three weeks of fighting with the militants in the region.
The Syrian military forces dismantled the terrorist network of the militants in the strategic area, which borders Lebanon.
The Iranian official also condemned the shipment of arms to the militants in the Arab country.
"Certain parties, who are still supporting arms shipment and terrorist acts against Syria, are responsible for massacre of people and devastation of Syria and should be tried as war criminals," he added.
Moreover, he stated that "they should be tried as war criminals," the Iranian diplomat pointed out.
