Following years of relentless US and "Israeli" pressure, the old European continent surrendered: The European Union's 28-member bloc decided Monday to blacklist the Lebanese resistance as a terrorist organization.

Ina blatant aggression against Lebanon and its resistance, Europe took this "Israeli" decision and promote it with flagrant support from the Americans and the British.

To them, the resistance, which they names as Hizbullah's military wing is "terrorist".

Britain and the Netherlands have long pressed their EU peers to impose sanctions on the Lebanese resistance group, claiming that it was behind an attack in the coastal Bulgarian city of Burgas a year ago.

Last month, the Bulgarian government backed away from the claims of the previous administration, saying that the EU could not justify blacklisting Hizbullah solely based on the little evidence produced to implicate it in the crime.

"It is important that the EU decision be based not only on the bombing ... because I think the evidence we have is not explicit," Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin had told national state radio BNR.

Meanwhile, Hizbullah denied any involvement in last year's bombing. It further confirmed that "Israel" is waging an "international campaign" against it.

In response to the European decision, Lebanese caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour said the decision was "hasty" and could lead to further sanctions against the movement that would complicate Lebanese politics.

"This will hinder Lebanese political life in the future, especially considering our sensitivities in Lebanon," he stated, and pointed out that "we need to tighten bonds among Lebanese parties, rather than create additional problems."
