Salehi, al-Ibrahimi Call for Political Solution to Syrian Crisis

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi and United Nation-Arab League Special Representative for Syria al-Akhdar al-Ibrahimi deliberated the latest developments in Syria and need for a political solution to the crisis.
In a telephone call on Wednesday evening, the officials called on all parties to support finding a political solution as the only way to settle the unrest in Syria, according to the Iranian state-run news agency IRNA.
Moreover, Salehi praised al-Ibrahimiˈs efforts to end the Syrian crisis and invited him for a visit to Tehran for further talks on the Syrian file.
Al-Ibrahimi, for his part, hailed Tehran's role in finding a solution for the Syrian and its active participation in different conferences held on Syria inside and outside Iran.
He further expressed willingness to a visit to be held in the near future.
