Iranian FM, Ban Ki-Moon Deliberate Egyptian Crisis

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif deliberated on Saturday regional and international files, chiefly the Egyptian one with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the phone.
According to the Foreign Ministry Media Department, Zarif and Ban Ki-moon searched for ways of overcoming the crisis in Egypt through regional and international efforts.

Moreover, he slated the killing of innocent people in Egypt and called for immediately ending violence and bloodshed.
Zarif further expressed concern over the Egyptian crisis, describing it as "critical" and "tragic".
For his part, Ki-Moon expressed UN intention to ease the crisis in Egypt and seek peaceful solutions.
Ban Ki-moon also invited President Hassan Rohani to attend the annual meeting of the United Nations General-Assembly in September.
