New Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi expressed his determination to pursue programs set by former officials.

Salehi said he will continue the organization's programs which "are already well-defined and clear in all aspects," according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

He further stressed the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program and mentioned that Iran's nuclear program is one of the focal topics in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Regarding a date for the next round of talks between Iran and the 5+1 group, Salehi noted that nothing is clear yet.
