Lebanese Security General Circulates Pics of Terrorists

The General Directorate of Lebanese General Security on Monday circulated the pictures of two suspects accused of forming a terrorist network that was plotting to detonate the explosive-laden car that was discovered Saturday in Naameh.
"An Audi car containing 250 kilograms of explosives was seized in the Naameh area on August 17," the directorate confirmed in a statement.
It further added: "The Lebanese national T. B. T. and the Palestinians A. H. S., aka Abu Youssef, and his brother Kh. H. S. are being held at the directorate on charges of forming a terrorist network, conducting acts of sabotage in the country, and plotting to stage a bomb attack through the seized car," it added.
This comes in the framework of searching for booby-trapped and lethal bombs, under the supervision of military general prosecution.
In parallel, the General Security also confirmed the arrest of a Lebanese and two Palestinians in connection with the al-Nehmeh case, circulating pictures of two suspects accused of forming a terrorist cell and conducting acts of sabotage.
The Directorate also announced that other individuals belonging to the cell are being pursued.
The two suspects are identified as:
- Lebanese citizen Mohamad Kassem al-Ahmad [1983] born in Beirut, Haret al-Nehmeh resident
- Lebanese citizen Said Mohamad Bahri [1985] born in Beirut, Dohet Aramoun resident
It also urged all citizens who spot them to report to the nearest General Security post or dial 01/612401. It promised that the identities of those who submit information will remain confidential.
