Over 27 people were martyred and 350 wounded in two explosions that rocked the Lebanese northern city of Tripoli on Friday.
The first explosion took place near the Taqwa Mosque in al-Zaheriyeh area, while the other took place near the Salam Mosque in the Rashid Karami area as worshippers left mosques after Friday prayers, according to the Lebanese TV channel al-Jadeed.

Security sources told AFP that the blasts were a result of two wired cars that exploded near the two mosques in Tripoli.
On this note, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri had stated, "The terrorist crimes of Tripoli come from the same murderous hands that left its black fingerprints on the victims in al-Dahyeh."
"We repeat our call on the national level to raise alertness and pass the opportunity on Lebanon's enemy," he added.
In addition, Hizbullah strongly condemned this act of terrorism, mentioning in a statement it released that, "The two terrorist explosions come as interpretation to the criminal scheme that aims at sowing the seeds of strife among the Lebanese, and dragging them into internal sectarian conflict."
"Hizbullah expresses its unease and distress to the calamity that hit its patient people in Tripoli, and condemns this new terrorist crime," the statement read.
A number of bodies are still stuck as cars were set ablaze in the surrounding of the explosion site near al-Taqwa mosque.
One of the explosions took place near caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati's residence in the Rashid Karami area, but his media office had reported that he was not in his residence at the time and was abroad on a family vacation.
Also, reports mentioned that the PM might cut his trip short to return to Lebanon.
Moreover, the Red Cross had cited that preliminary reports showed more than 20 injuries, including martyrs and injured, were taken to Tripoli's hospitals.
Witnesses said that cars and buildings were still on fire in the surrounding of the explosion site.
