Arab-“Israeli” Killed in Syria Battles

An Arab-"Israeli" has been killed fighting in Syria on the side of al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front terrorist group, his relatives said on Wednesday.
Muayyed Zaki Jumaa Ighbariya, 28 years, left his village near the Arab-"Israeli" city of Umm al-Fahm in the north of the Occupied Palestine and crossed into Syria via Turkey about a month ago, a relative who requested anonymity told AFP.
Ighbariya's family said prayers for him on Wednesday morning, having learned of his death the day before, without specifying how they had received the news.
Ighbariya is thought to be the first declared Arab-"Israeli" killed in the Syrian conflict, but the Zionist police claimed they had arrested three other Arab citizens who went to fight against the Syrian national military for "leaving the country illegally and travelling to a hostile state".
Without elaborating on the sources of his information, Zaki, Ighbariya's father said he had heard Mueid died in Shabba, a district adjacent to the Damascus airport road where there were clashes on Tuesday.
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said the three men had also joined the al-Nusra Front. Two of them were sentenced in August to only 19 months in prison each.
Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the Syrian government accuses foreign actors of orchestrating the conflict by supporting the militant opposition groups with arms and money.
