MP Hashem: Blacklisting Makhlouf is proof of American hegemony

MP Qassem Hashem of the Development and Liberation bloc considered the inclusion of Rami Makhlouf on the list of those prohibited from entering US territories was a political message.
"We are used to the American administration's arbitrary actions, which aim at making certain suggestions, with the belief that it can exert pressure to promote American policies," he added.
"But with many nations, institutions and individuals these American methods were to no avail. This is not only evidence of their policy of hegemony but confirms that the US is the farthest thing from freedom and does not hesitate to violate rights, laws and customs in the world," Qassem said.
