Sheik Qassem blames "Israel" and American for political and security problems in Lebanon

After meeting with a delegation from the Imam Khomeini Institute for Islamic Studies, Hizbullah Deputy Sheik Naim Qassem said that confrontation with "Israel" was not limited to Lebanon, but included Palestine and all countries in the region affected by "Israeli" "occupation and aggression." He also blamed "Israel" for the political and security problems in the region.
"We are all concerned with the protection of our countries, and we must cooperate with our partners to protect our nation from occupation and aggression. Although we know that the struggle is long and costly, it is less costly than surrender and defeat," Qassem added. "Hizbullah and the Lebanese opposition will go on with complete trust in one another, and will hide behind no one. The opposition will work to protect Lebanon from American trusteeship and from submission to the "Israeli" project."
