Syrian Forces Continue Operations Against Armed Terrorists, Kurds Exple ISIL

The Syrian Armed Forces continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in many areas on Tuesday, killing scores of them and destroying their weaponry, munitions and equipment, including a boat in al-Rastan Lake in Homs, SANA reported.

The state-run agency said that units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorist groups in the northern countryside of Lattakia, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Moreover, a military source told SANA that the operations resulted in destroying cars loaded with weapons and ammunition , 6 tanks loaded with stolen fuel and a cars equipped with heavy machinegun.
In addition, the army units achieved significant advance in Aleppo south eastern countryside and destroyed dozens of terrorists' hideouts and gatherings in many areas in the province.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army eliminated the members of an armed terrorist groups, many of them of non-Syrian nationalities, between the towns of Tal Hasel and Tal Arn.

Meanwhile, the army targeted and destroyed terrorists' gatherings and hideouts in the areas of Bab Antakya and Bab Qisreen in Aleppo city.
Also in the countryside, a military source told SANA that an army unit seized a car loaded with weapons and ammunition, including RPGs and stolen medical equipment.

In the same context, the army units stormed terrorists dens in al-Sbainiyeh town and killed many terrorists, while other army units clashed with terrorists in the area surrounding al-Sayyida Zaiynab shrine, killing a number of terrorists, including Mahmoud al-Rifaai.
On another note, eight citizens were martyred and others were injured when terrorists blew up an explosive device planted in al-Hijaz Square in Damascus on Wednesday.

A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that terrorists planted an explosive device in front of the General Establishment of Railways (al-Hejaz Railway), adding that dozens of persons were killed or injured in the attack, among them a number of workers who were carrying out maintenance work to the building.

In other news, the opposition UK-based Syrian Observatory reported that the Kurdish People's Protection Units clashed with militants of ISIL, Nusra and FSA, expelling them from the Asfar, Najjar and Tal Half areas of Ras al-Ain countryside in Hasaka province.
It added that fierce clashes have erupted between the two parties since the dawn of Tuesday in Manajeer area which is the last ISIL position in Ras al-Ain city.
