US Secretary of State John Kerry has reportedly put off a visit to the Zionist entity scheduled for this week aimed at helping push forward the so-called "peace" talks between "Israel" and the Palestinian Authority.

Kerry Not to Visit ’Israel’ This Week"It looks as if I probably will not be able to get there over the course of this weekend," Kerry said on Monday after talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu at the State Department.

However, he reiterated his country's commitment to going in order to engage in the ongoing discussions that we are currently engaged in shortly after the Thanksgiving break, as soon as we can work out the timings.

The announcement came hours after "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Kerry will arrive in Tel Aviv on Friday.

Instead, Kerry said he would try to visit "Israel" again after the November 28 "Thanksgiving holiday" in the United States.

Kerry's decision to postpone the visit could be due to the upcoming round of negotiations between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States - plus Germany, which is to be held on Wednesday.

The Geneva meeting will be held as the Zionist entity continues to pressure on the world powers to prevent a potential nuclear deal with Iran. Netanyahu has said that any deal between the two sides would be a "historic mistake."
