The Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei confirmed that American officials are lying when they say they are not pursuing regime change in Iran.

Imam Khamenei: US Unable to Change Iranian Regime, Our Principles Remain Rock Solid"The United States will not hesitate for a moment if it thinks it is able to change the government in Iran," Imam Khamenei said in an address to Iranian Air Force commanders on Saturday in Tehran.

He further pointed out that "the US will be unable to change the Iranian government since the Islamic system relies on the will of the Iranian people."
"One can change the tactics, but principles must remain rock solid," His Eminence stated.

Moreover, the leader emphasized that compromise with arrogant powers will lead to nowhere and stated that interventionist powers seek to put autocratic puppets at the helm.
"The secret to the longevity of the Islamic Revolution is its reliance on Islamic values," Imam Khamenei highlighted.

The Leader stressed that seeking independence should not be translated into hostility with the rest of the world. "Independence means resistance against the interventionist powers which do not respect the dignity of other nations for their personal interests."

In parallel, he added that the imperial order has been manifested in absolute terms in the current US administration.
"The United States threatens Iran and ridiculously expects it to reduce its defensive power," His Eminence said, adding the solution to economic problems does not lie in lifting sanctions.

Imam Khamenei believed that in no circumstance should the explicitness be abandoned. "Tactics could be changed, but not the principles. The Islamic Republic relies upon people's piety, will, and love," he asserted.
He also expressed hopes that on February 11 [the anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution] the nation would come to streets and cry their national solidarity and strength.
