The Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed that Iran will not capitulate to the bullying of colonial powers and the global hegemonic order.

Imam Khamenei: Nuclear Talks Not Likely to Be Fruitful, Iran won’t Give up to Global HegemonyImam Khamenei also said efforts to embellish the United States' image and portray its government as friendly are futile.

"Some of the officials of the previous government as well as the officials of this government think the problem will be resolved if they negotiate the nuclear issue," Khamenei said in remarks published on his website Khamenei.ir.

"I'm not optimistic about nuclear talks, but not opposed to them, either," he further noted.

He further stressed that the undeniable message of the Islamic Revolution is that the nation will never yield to the hegemonic powers.

"The work that has been started by the foreign ministry will continue and Iran will not violate its commitment, but I repeat it again, it will lead to nowhere," Imam Khamenei said.

The Supreme Leader advised certain people not to try to disguise the true face of the US in a bid to introduce it as a humanitarian state which cares about human beings.

Moreover, he reiterated that such an effort would fail.

In parallel, His Eminence appreciated the huge turnout of the Iranian nation in Bahman 22 [Feb 11] rallies commemorating the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in the country.

Imam Khamenei made the remarks here Monday morning in a meeting with thousands of people from the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan.
