’Israeli’ Settlers Attack Palestinian Children, Shepherds

"Israeli" settlers from the Maon settlement in the occupied land, south of the West Bank, kidnapped and tortured a Palestinian child on Saturday.
 
Six year-old Musab Rubei' was taken from the village of Tiwani, the Palestinian News & Info Agency, WAFA, has reported.

The coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements, Ratin al-Jbour, stated that several settlers kidnapped the boy and detained him for several hours before releasing him in a woody area near the settlement. He was, in a severe state of shock.

Jbour said that the child, who was unable to speak and suffered a psychological trauma, has been sent to Abu al-Hasan al-Qasim hospital in Yatta for treatment.

Meanwhile, settlers from Ramat Yeshai settlement, also stole Palestinian lands in Tal Romeida, assaulted Awni Imad Abu Shamseye, 14, before holding him in the settlement for more than an hour under the protection of "Israel" soldiers.
 
Local sources said that the settlers also assaulted the child's father as he was trying to protect his son.
Meanwhile, "Israeli" settlers Sunday attacked a shepherd while he was grazing his sheep in the area of Wadi Abu Obaida, near al-Khalil, according to medical sources.
Sources said that settlers brutally beat up 22 year-old Nader al-Njoom, causing him severe bruises throughout his body.

He was transferred to hospital for medical treatment where his case was described as moderate to stable.
