’Israel’: Hamas’ M-302 Missiles Syrian Made, Improved by Hizbullah
Local Editor
The Palestinian rockets reached Hadera, that is 110km north of Gaza.
"Israel" didn't absorb the surprise. Thus, it went into analysis.
According to the "Israeli" intelligence sources, "Hamas has several hundred Syrian-made M-302 rockets of type that reached Hadera."
"The long-range rockets have been identified as the Syrian-made M-302 Khaibar missile, that was used by Hizbullah against "Israel" in the 2006 Lebanon war to pound Haifa," they added.
The Zionist sources further claimed: "This weapon uses Iranian technology deriving from the Chinese WS-1 which has a 175 kilo warhead. Hizbullah engineers posted in the Gaza Strip have since helped Hamas improve the M-302 and extend its range and accuracy."
Moreover, they mentioned that "the "Israeli" government and army chiefs failed to heed this strategic increment to the tools of war - until Tuesday, when it emerged as a key weapon of Palestinian groups."
"Hamas may be expected to continue to use the M-302 to hit "Israeli" targets," the sources warned.
"They have more [rockets and missiles], but more important, the majority of what they have is from the longer-range side," says former "Israeli" "national security" adviser Maj. Gen. Yaakov Amidror (res.), who estimates that about 10 percent of the arsenal is now long-range. "They understand where "Israel's" weak point is.... Tel Aviv or "Jerusalem" are much more attractive than Sderot."
