In a new Zionist breach to the Lebanese sovereignty, the "Israeli" army launched more than 50 [155mm] artillery shells into the Lebanese Southern side, particularly to Mari and Kafr Shuba villages.

New ’Israeli’ Breach to Lebanese Sovereignty The "Israeli" shelling caused no injuries or damage, and it came hours after two Katyusha rockets landed in the eastern outskirts of al-Mtelleh settlement in Occupied Palestine.

Kfar Shuba mayor Qassem al-Qaderi said at least 15 rockets fired from the "Israeli"-occupied part of Kfar Shuba landed on the western fringes of the town, particularly in Dahr al-Shqif and Darb al-Sowwan. There were no immediate reports of casualties, he added.

The Lebanese Army and UN peacekeepers began a search for the rocket launch pads.

The state-run National News Agency said Lebanese Army Intelligence defused two rockets prepared to be fired toward "Israel".

A third rocket failed to launch because of a technical malfunction in the area of Ain Arab at around 2:00 am. The rocket exploded while still on its launchpad, NNA said.
Security forces and the army drew a tight dragnet in the two areas to search for the suspects standing behind the attack.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for it.
