New “Israeli” Bloody Massacre on Civilians, 50 At Least Killed

"Israeli" forces committed a new massacre in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City, killing at least 50 people, most of whom are children and women.
Witnesses said bodies of Palestinian women and children lie on the ground after "Israeli" assaults on the Shejaiya neighborhood, forcing thousands of panicked civilians to flee. Some have tried to find refuge with relatives, while others have headed to UN schools that have been serving as temporary shelters since the start of the "Israeli" aggression against the Strip less than two weeks ago.
Emergency services spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra declared that 50 bodies had been retrieved from the neighborhood, and at least 380 people had been wounded in the non-stop shelling.
The bloodshed continues in the besieged enclave for the 13th consecutive day. The death toll is expected to rise as more bodies are uncovered.
Constant fire was preventing the evacuation of many more, he said, noting "The vast majority of those killed and injured so far are civilians including women and children."
Medical sources said seven Palestinians were killed in other areas across the enclave.
Residents said the heavy shelling began in Shejaiya around midnight as "Israeli" tanks reached the edge of the neighborhood. They pointed out that it is too dangerous for ambulances and medical teams to approach targeted areas.
More than 3,000 Palestinians have also been wounded since July 8.
The Ezzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, said its fighters exchanged fire with Israeli forces in Shejaiya and a nearby neighborhood.
