Zionist Haaretz criticized "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent speech at the United Nations on Monday, saying that, "The empty seats inside the hall were a reflection of the reality outside: there aren't that many buyers for Netanyahu's merchandise these days, other than loyal supporters at home and his coterie of admirers in the United States."

"The tricks seemed passé, the shticks worn out," Haaretz wrote on Tuesday.

"The prime minister will likely be reminded of this in his meeting at the White House on Wednesday: US President Obama will want to know whether he has anything constructive to contribute to the Iran debate, other than the unrealistic demand to dismantle Tehran's nuclear infrastructure altogether," it added.

"Most of Netanyahu's messaging seemed slightly recycled," said Haaretz, giving the example of "his overly self-righteous defense of the great care that the "Israel" [War] Forces takes to avoid civilian casualties which bordered on a complaint that the Palestinians weren't making enough of an effort to thank their "lucky stars" for the privilege of being blown to bits by "Israel" [War] Forces bombs."

Furthermore, in another Haaretz article, it made mention of Netanyahu's words before flying to New York on Sunday: "I will refute all the lies hurled at "Israel", Netanyahu promised, or threatened," Haaretz wrote.

"Accompanied by his admiring aides and "Israeli" Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman - Netanyahu did everything in his considerable power to fulfill this promise," it said.

"This is how yet another Netanyahu speech at the UN General Assembly finished: with a lot of Iran and a lot of equating ISIL to Hamas," Haaretz pointed out.

It added: "Only the most junior diplomats were present when he spoke. He didn't tell them anything they didn't know..."

"As for the "Israelis" who watched the speech on television, they were presumably proud of the polished, unabashedly... "Israeli" oration Netanyahu delivered in the place where his political career began three decades ago," as Haaretz said.

"It's probably no coincidence that it took a few hours for one website that had posted a transcript of Netanyahu's speech to realize that it was the one he delivered at the UN back in 2011," it wrote.
