Yaalon Says Will Continue to Build in Occupied al-Quds without Apologizing
Local Editor
Zionist War Minister Moshe Yaalon declared on Thursday that "Israel" will continue to build in occupied al-Quds, the "Jewish capital", and will not apologize for doing so.
"...Jerusalem [occupied al-Quds] will forever remain the capital of "Israel", the Jewish people's capital, the city that we will continue to build and develop without apologizing for it," he declared.
Yaalon's comments come in the wake of international criticism over "Israel's" approval of new housing units in the occupied al-Quds neighborhood of Givat Hamatos.
"Israel" has been criticized after the leftist "Israeli" organization "Peace" Now revealed a plan to build 2,610 units in eastern occupied al-Quds. The housing units have been slated for construction since 2012 and were given final approval recently last week.
The project has drawn sharp international criticism as well as from the United States, with US President Barack Obama on Wednesday telling "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Washington's deep concern over the proposed development.
