Officials from the Future Movement and its media outlets continue to launch false accusations over repeated assaults against the Lebanese Army [LA] in Tripoli, pinning the blame on individuals, it alleges, are allied, close or friends with Hizbullah.
In face of these false allegations, Hizbullah emphasizes the following:
First: These accusations are completely false and unfounded.
Second: Those who are shooting at the army in Tripoli are known by the people of the city, the LA and security services. They do not include any friend or ally of Hizbullah, as claimed by those [Future Movement] sides.
However, everyone knows that the attackers are allies of the Future Movement and close to it.
This comes as the Future has always pressured and worked for the release of the attackers and to provide the legal umbrella to stop their trial.
Third: Any attack on the LA is rejected as it forms a grave national crime, the severity of which is only worsened by the fact that the LA is waging battles against terrorists.
Fourth: We call on referring the LA's attackers to the judiciary to receive fair punishment, as it is necessary to identify their nationalities, their goals and to whom they work for.
