’Israel’ Considers Outlawing Muslim Guards at Al-Aqsa Mosque

The "Israeli" Public Security Ministry, backed by the "Israel" Police and internal security agency Shin Bet, are advancing a bill to outlaw the organization of civilian Palestinian guards stationed on the al-Quds Holy Mosque ["Temple Mount "] in occupied Palestine.

The new bill was revealed on Wednesday by "Israeli" Haaretz, and targets the organized gatherings of Muslim men and women in recent years on the alQuds Holy Mosque.

"Israeli" forces have long restricted Palestinians' access to the al-Aqsa compound based on age and gender, but in the past months, they have further prevented Palestinian worshipers from entering the mosque while facilitating the entrance for Zionist extremists.

"Israel" occupied East Al-Quds and the West Bank during the 1967 Six-Day War. It later annexed the city of occupied Al-Quds in 1980, claiming it as the capital of the self-proclaimed Zionist entity - a move never recognized by the international community.
