Hizbullah's unit will be firing 1,000 rockets a day into "Israel", more than twice the average fired during the month-long "Israel"-Hizbullah war in 2006.

The rockets will target strategic facilities, and pinpoint attacks on cities in northern "Israel", like Nahariya. Gen. Itai Brun, the outgoing director of the "Israeli" Military Intelligence research division, told "Israel" Today Newspaper.

Unlike the 2006 conflict, Hizbullah's arsenal is believed to contain over 100,000 rockets and more that are capable of hitting almost anywhere in "Israel", said Brun.

In the next Middle East war, Hizbullah will attempt sending large ground forces across the border to seize villages inside "Israel".

In the interview, Brun spoke about Hizbullah's reaction to the "Israeli" strikes in recent years in Syria and Lebanon. He also admitted that Hizbullah is preparing for renewed conflict with the "Israeli" army.

He said that in the next war, Hizbullah plans to fire more than 1,000 rockets every day in an effort to damage strategic facilities in "Israel".

Itai Brun, who is leaving his position, predicted that the Middle East as a whole will simmer in 2015. "We are expecting the mess in the Middle East to continue," he said.
