A week has passed since the latest "Israeli" airstrike that martyred six Hizbullah fighters and the Iranian official Mohammed Allah-Dadi, and still unease is prevalent amid "Israel" and the Occupied Palestinian northern border.

Game of Waiting Hizbullah’s Response : ’Israel’s’ Nightmare

"Israeli" media worked hard to cover up details related to the attack in fear of the response awaited. There was an effort to send appeasing messages to Iran in order to prevent further escalation, which could lead to a general confrontation with Hizbullah.

"Israeli" sources mentioned that the Zionist entity was unaware of the presence of the Iranian General in the convoy. "One thing is for sure, the situation represented the two sides of the same coin; two different scenarios concerning the airstrike: it was either that "Israel" was trying to avoid a war with Iran, or it can also be interpreted as an "Israeli" admission that it carried out the operation, and that it was an intelligence and/or operational failure."

Either ways, "Israeli" media stated that both scenarios were actually one, using double-speak: Sending a conciliatory message to Iran while at the same time, signaling a different hint to "Israeli" voters, two months before the election.

War Minister Moshe Ya'alon visited the headquarters of the "Israeli" Northern Command, amid high tensions following an "Israeli" strike in Syria earlier this week. He stated, "We must be prepared for any attempt to challenge us in light of the calls heard from the other side." Moreover, he added: "It's important we continue to keep calm and be patient, and know how to respond in the most suitable way."

Based on the report, the "Israeli" army decided to station additional infantry, artillery, and tank forces in the north, as well as to shorten the "Israel" Air Forces' mandatory response time. Iron Dome batteries have been also deployed in the area.

Ynet analyst declared that, "If targeted assassinations on Syrian Golan were designed to prevent establishment of new front against "Israel", result may well be exact opposite."

"Israeli" sources cited that Hizbullah had sleeper cells inside the Green Line, and if they decide on an attack on "Israeli" soldiers in the center of the country, they would be able to awaken those cells.

Henceforth, "Israeli" sources linked the sleeper cells situation to an incident two years ago as Hizbullah allegedly smuggled a 40kg lump of particularly advanced plastic explosives in Nazareth.
The report claimed that the to this day, it is unclear for whom the shipment was intended.

In an attempt to assure the "Israeli settlers, the immediate target for revenge will be military and not civilian.

The reports illustrated that the Zionist entity's military establishment differentiates between acts of retaliation against military targets and the possibility that such an operation will be carried out against "civilians". That is what will make the difference between a local incident and an escalation along the border that could degenerate into all-out war in the north.

The "Israeli" media shed light on various questions troubling the "Israeli" public among which are: "When would "Israel" decide that we were dealing with a threat that required handling with a different set of tools? When it starts happening every week? Twice a week? Every day? Or perhaps they were waiting for someone to declare the third intifada officially open?"
