An "Israeli" group B'tselem denounced, in a report it published on Wednesday, the "Israeli" government's breach of International law by attacking civilian dwellings and launching airstrikes during last year's Gaza war.

According to the group, the 47-page report it published that the result of its investigation was a total of 606 Palestinians martyred , 70 percent of whom were under 18 or over 60.

The report mentioned, "A hallmark of the fighting in Gaza this summer was the numerous strikes on residential buildings, destroying them while their occupants were still inside".

The 47-page report bluntly contradicted Benjamin Netanyahu, the "Israeli" prime minister, who claimed that "Israel" had gone to unprecedented lengths to avoid causing civilian deaths.

"Such attacks were not carried out on the whim of individual soldiers, pilots or commanders in the field". It added, "They are the result of a policy formulated by government officials and the senior military command..."

In addition, the group said "Israeli" officials have failed to provide any explanations on the issue so far. "Israeli" officials refused requests for comments, referring the group to the "Israeli" military, which also had no immediate response to the findings.
