Palestinian Heroic Operation Injures 2 ’Israeli’ Soldiers
The most recent heroic operation in the Occupied Palestinian territories was carried out near a settlement in the northern West Bank by a Palestinian young man who stabbed two Zionist soldiers injuring one of them seriously. The young man was martyred shortly afterwards.
The Palestinian minor stabbed the "Israeli" soldiers near the entrance of the "Ma'ale Levona" settlement south of Nablus.
One soldier, 20, was critically injured after being stabbed in the neck; the other received minor injuries and then opened fire at the youth, who sustained critical injuries before being pronounced dead.
The Zionist entity's army forces and ambulances arrived to the area giving first aid to the soldiers; the soldiers were taken in a helicopter to Zionist hospitals for treatment.
An "Israeli" army spokeswoman did not have an immediate report on the incident.
The operation came less than one week after an "Israeli" soldier was stabbed by near the "Oranit" checkpoint in southern Qalqiliya last Thursday. The soldier was slightly injured and the Palestinian male reportedly detained.
Last week's stabbing was the first operation on the Zionist settlers - be them military or non-military - since early March when a Palestinian man drove his vehicle into a group of border police standing in front of an "Israeli" border police station between East and West al-Quds, striking five people.
In the same time period, meanwhile, "Israeli" forces had shot and killed two Palestinians and injured around 170 Palestinians, the majority during attacks on protests as well as during raids, according to the United Nations.
However, the figure does not include attacks by the Zionist settlers.
