Sayyed Nasrallah Receives Aoun: Defying Terrorism Top Priority

Hizbullah and the Free Patriotic Movement released the following statement:

Hizbullah's Secretary-General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met with the head of Change and Reform bloc, General Michel Aoun.

The meeting was attended by Lebanese Foreign Minister Gibran Bassil and Sayyed Nasrallah's political aide Hussein Khalil and head of Hizbullah Liaison and Coordination Unit Wafiq Safa.

The officials discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region, in particular the risk of excommunicating terrorism posing threat to the entire region.

Furthermore, they stressed the need to defy terrorism by all means in the sake of the protection and stability of Lebanon.

The conferees also discussed Lebanese internal affairs and local issues, namely the presidential election.
