Druze Attack ’Israeli’ Ambulance Transporting al-Nusra Militants
Local Editor
Residents of Horfesh, in the Galilee, attacked a military ambulance that passed near their town Sunday night. The vehicle was carrying two wounded Syrian militants to a hospital.
The Druze suspected that the casualties were Takfiri militants, who were fighting their Druze brethren in Syria.
They tried to block the path of the ambulance in order to check who was inside. The driver managed to escape but the young Druze men hurled rocks at the vehicle and tried to follow it. One of the Druze was hit by the ambulance and required hospitalization.
Furthermore, the ambulance drove to the Maalot police station and received a police escort before it drove to the hospital at Nahariya.
Likewise, according to "Walla" a Zionist website, this action comes within the framework of the Druze protest against the medical treatment that "Israel" provides the wounded Syrians, some of whom al-Nusra Front."
