In details, the Islamic Resistance men and the Syrian army took over the Marawih district in south Zabadani and continued to advance toward neighborhoods in the area.
Wednesday's push left "dozens" of Takfiris either dead or wounded, several others were killed when the Resistance men destroyed a militant vehicle along the Lebanese border.

The latest push has trapped militants in the center of the city, successfully cutting off all routes to nearby Qalamoun towns.

For its part, the Syrian state TV said the army and Hizbullah destroyed a 70 meter-long [77 yards] tunnel used by the takfiris to transport equipment.

According to media reports, militants' factions, which controlled roughly 25 square kilometers of the city, are now spread over 5 square kilometers of land after a military campaign by Hizbullah and the Syrian army was launched earlier this month.

Zabadani is located on the southern end of Qalamoun, about 50 kilometers northwest of Damascus and 12 kilometers northeast of Lebanon's Masnaa border crossing.
