Ferzli accuses the majority of betting on the US

Former MP Elias Ferzli said that Resigned Minister Fawzi Salukh cannot go to the Damascus Summit if Prime Minster Fouad Saniora does not participate in it.
"PM Siniora has the right to decide on Lebanon's representative after the vote of the cabinet on the matter," Ferzli said.
"It is no important to send a Maronite representative to the Arab Summit. What matters is his capacity to negotiate," he added.
Ferzli reiterated support to the Arab initiative.
"I am with a fair and just peace in Lebanon and the region. But does this mean to hold peace with "Israel" and be hostile to Syria and Iran?" he wondered.
Ferzli accused the majority of betting on the US in order to rebuild Lebanon on a federal basis.
"If Syria is obstructing the presidential elections, would the decision to boycott the Arab Summit facilitate the holding of these elections or make it more complicated?" Ferzli wondered.
