A Palestinian woman had been shot after she tried to stab an "Israeli" with a knife in the Old City of al-Quds [Jerusalem], "Israeli" media reports said.
The woman approached an "Israeli" settler from behind and stabbed him in the upper body near the Lion's Gate in al-Quds, police spokeswoman Luba Samri told AP.

In a related notion, at least two Palestinians sustained gunshot wounds after an unspecified number of "Israeli" settlers opened fire on them in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the settlers stormed the Dar Salah village, located six kilometers [3.7 miles] east of Bethlehem, on Wednesday morning, and then fired indiscriminately at the local residents, the Arabic-language al-Aqsa satellite television network reported.
Furthermore, the report added that two Palestinians suffered wounds as a result, who were transported to hospital to receive medical treatment. One of the injured Palestinians is reportedly in critical condition.
