Ya’alon Fears Threats from Iran-Backed Groups

"Israeli" War Minister Moshe Ya'alon expressed concerns over the threats the "Israeli" apartheid regime is facing from Iran-backed revolutionaries.

In a visit to the United States, he alleged on Wednesday that "Iran makes nonstop attempts at harming "Israel"" and its settlers along from north to south and even across oceans.

He further added that "Iran also challenges US interests in the region, both directly and by undermining pro-Western Sunni regimes in the region."

Ya'alon expressed his fears during a joint news briefing with his American counterpart Ash Carter at the Pentagon alleging that "Iran and its proxies" are trying to "ignite the area" via "harsh incitement".

Carter said "the recent US-brokered nuclear deal with Iran had eliminated some but not all of the risk presented by Iran." He added that "Iran must comply with the deal or face a military threat from the United States".

Carter, also, reaffirmed the US commitment to "Israel's" security.

Accordingly, Ya'alon asserted that ""Israel" has no greater friend than the United States of America."
