’Israeli’ New Crime: 18- Month Baby Martyred
Local Editor
Three months after the 18-month-old Palestinian boy, Ali Dawabsheh, was burned to death when settlers set fire to his family house in the occupied West Bank, an eight-month-old Palestinian child suffocated Friday from tear gas inhalation, and died after gas seeped into his parents' house in Bethlehem.
The area where the baby's house is located is close to where clashes broke out between stone-throwing Palestinian youths and "Israeli" soldiers. The martyrdom of the innocent baby, Ramadan Thawabteh, brought the death toll of Palestinians to 69 in October only.
As the stabbing operations continued, al-Quds and the West Bank witnessed a new Day of Rage.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported eight youths wounded by gunfire and another hit by a rubber bullet in Ramallah. More than 50 Palestinians were wounded by "Israeli" gunfire in Gaza, and two were in a critical condition, medical sources informed.
In the city of Nablus, two Palestinians allegedly tried to stab members of "Israeli" forces guarding a major checkpoint, and were shot, police said. One died and the other was wounded and arrested.
Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, hundreds of youths threw stones and firebombs and rolled burning tires at "Israeli" soldiers who responded with bullets.
Clashes also erupted in Ramallah where an "Israeli" army jeep hit a crowd of protesters, injuring a young man.
In the blockaded Gaza Strip, where 17 Palestinians were martyred in clashes in recent weeks, protesters clashed with "Israeli" forces along the northern and eastern borders.
Palestinian officials Friday urged the International Criminal Court to accelerate its probe into "Israeli" war crimes," handing over a new 52-page dossier of summary killings and collective punishment.
Would Ali Dawabsheh and Ramadan Thawabteh be the last youngest victims of this new uprising? It is doubtful since the "Israelis" don't expose their power but on the poor children and unarmed members secure at their homes.
