Raad: The time that the enemy used to attack our territories without retaliation has ended
Source: Al Manar TV, 23-03-2008
The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad reassured the Lebanese that there is no new 'Israeli' war looming in Lebanon. Speaking Saturday at a ceremony, Raad said no one should bargain on 'Israel' launching a new war against Lebanon because "the time that the enemy used to attack our territories without retaliation has ended. These are not dreams, wishes or exaggerations, these are facts. Our people should become assured, trust their resistance and believe in their ability to stand steadfast and victorious."
On the Arab summit due in Damascus on March 29th and 30th, MP Raad told the Lebanese ruling bloc that "whether you attend the summit or not, our demand for partnership will not change." Raad added that "repairing" the government or expanding it will not give it legitimacy. "The solution is establishing partnership within the framework of a national unity government and then elect the consensus presidential candidate, whom we still agree on," the Hizbullah MP said.
