Ya’alon: Detaining Palestinians’ Bodies Will Not Stop Guerilla Ops.

In response to a series of proposals to return the bodies of those carrying out guerrilla operations in the Occupied Territories, Zionist War Minister Moshe Ya'alon said before the Knesset on Wednesday that "detaining the bodies of Palestinians won't deter the other executors from repeating same operations, unlike the measures of destroying houses and withdrawing residency permits."

According to "Israeli" media outlets, Ya'alon noted during a session at the minimized council of ministers [the Cabinet], that it was decided to commission the PM, in coordination with the Ministers of War and so-called "Internal Security" to decide on each case separately.

Ya'alon said the decision was to return the corpses to the families, under the condition that they carry out humble and calm funerals "without incitement or stirring emotions" He further added, "indeed, we've begun returning the bodies and many funerals took place accordingly. However, one of the funerals witnessed acts of incitement, and thus we put it to a halt".
