"Israeli" troops killed a Palestinian woman at a checkpoint in the besieged West Bank bringing the total number of Palestinians murdered in the past 40 days to 80.
The forces of the "Israeli" apartheid regime alleged that the victim pulled a knife in an attempt to stab them.
According to reports, the 23 year old lady ignored calls to stop and also warning shots that were fired in her direction as she walked toward a checkpoint near the Alfei Menashe settlement in northern occupied West Bank.
80 Palestinians have been martyred by "Israeli" fire since the beginning of last October. The other Palestinians were martyred in clashes between stone-throwers and so called "security forces."
Rights groups said that the occupation forces had used excessive force against Palestinians, in some cases shooting and killing the Palestinians who the groups say could have been arrested.
Palestinian media reports also mentioned that several "Israeli" military vehicles stormed the town of al-Shoyoukh in southern West Bank. The attack was conducted against the Islamic Charity Association, in which the guard was arrested, and several items belonging to the association and the orphans resided in it were stolen.
