’Israel’ Arrests Palestinian after Car Ramming Attack
Local Editor
The "Israeli" apartheid regime's forces arrested Friday a Palestinian whom they claimed is a member of the resistance movement Hamas on suspicion of running over four occupation soldiers, leaving one in serious condition.
In their statement, the "Israeli" regime's forces said that they had detained the car-ramming suspect in an overnight joint operation after he ran over the soldiers near Beit Aryeh, injuring four.
The detainee was identified as Mohammed Abdel Hamid Salam who the occupation forces alleged to be affiliated to Hamas.
Thursday's operation, at a checkpoint in the occupied West Bank near the Zionist settlement of Beit Aryeh, left one soldier severely wounded and three others with light injuries.
Salman's vehicle was later found with an assault rifle belonging to one of the targeted soldiers inside.
Since October 1, almost daily operations and clashes between Palestinian youngsters and resistance fighters against "Israeli" soldiers have marked a fresh wave of new Intifada [Uprising] against the occupiers.
