’Israel’ Approves 900 Settler Units in Occupied Territories

The "Israeli" occupation regime announced the approval of plans to build some 900 housing units in the occupied Palestinian territory.

It is worth mentioning that the settlement construction activities were initially approved in late 2012.

More than half a million "Israeli" settlers live in 120 settlements built since the Zionist regime's occupation of the Palestinian territories in 1967. The settlements are considered illegal and condemned by most of the international community.

It was in August that tensions in the occupied territories escalated since the "Israeli" regime's imposition of restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Holy Mosque.

More than 120 Palestinians were martyred in the recent escalation of violence since the start of October.
