Lebanese newspapers on Tuesday focused on sever issues, most important of which was the speech delivered by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on the definite retaliation to the assassination of Samir al-Quntar, dean of liberated Lebanese detainees.

The dailies pointed out that the speech comes to warn of the aftermath of the assassination, as "Israel" is obliged now to spend tough days and weeks maybe of waiting for the definite retaliation as the resistance has promised to hit back hard and warned that the "Israeli" regime cannot change the rules of the game in the region. Also, newspapers touched on the different regional developments.
AL-AKHBAR: People More Adherent to the Choice of Resistance
On the backdrop of the "Israeli" assassination of the dean of liberated Lebanese detainees in "Israeli" prisons, sources highlighted that the more aggressions and assassinations are perpetrated by the Zionist regime, the more people adhere to the choice of resistance.
Well-informed sources told al-Akhbar newspaper that "the people's choice is to confront "Israel" and the terrorist groups that support it, and that every time a martyr falls, dozens of young men come and announce their readiness to join the resistance."
"Many of these young men have been fighting the terrorist groups since five years already, and they are the sons of the Golan and Jabal al-Sheikh, not to mention many young men who have been displaced because of the terrorist attacks and want to return to their homes and towns," added the source.
The source also stressed that it is not only a matter of power, but it is rather a battle of just and will.
"Israeli" warplanes raided a residential building in the Syrian city of Jaramana late on Saturday, killing the dean of liberated detainees from "Israeli" prisons, Samir al-Quntar.
Sources said the "Israeli" warplanes struck the building with four long-range missiles, causing complete destruction of the building and partial damage to the surrounding structures.
Hizbullah Media Relations released a statement on Sunday announcing the martyrdom of al-Quntar who spent 29 years in the "Israeli" prisons.
AL-BINAA: We Have the Right to Retaliate, Anywhere and Anytime: Nasrallah
"Hizbullah will soon retaliate yet the place and time will remain for the resistance to determine," stressed well-informed sources.
The sources told al-Binaa newspaper on Tuesday that Hizbullah possesses a bank that includes numerous targets and monitors the movement of the "Israeli" army in more than one location, especially along the borders of the Golan Heights which is considered as an occupied land, and the resistance is a legitimate one there.
The source also pointed out that the "Israeli" tanks in the Shebaa occupied farms and the Golan area will be a target to the resistance missiles.
Moreover, sources noted that Hizbullah will not likely reply from South Lebanon, since that might give "Israel" a pretext to start a war against Lebanon, noting that Hizbullah does not want to start an open war with the "Israeli" regime for domestic and regional reasons.
Replying to claims that the resistance forces have become weaker because of engaging in war with terrorists in Syria, the source stressed that "Sayyed Nasrallah wanted to stress through the speech that the resistance is still in a state of war with "Israel", and that it will definitely retaliate to the attack."
Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made a televised statement on Monday, two days after the martyrdom of freed detainee Samir al-Quntar in which he reminded "Israel" that Hizbullah will respond to the assassination of any member of the resistance in the way, time, and date it chooses.
AL-LIWAA: Waste Crisis Resolved, Two Companies to Start Action
Agriculture Minister Akram Shohayeb, who has been tasked by ending the waste crisis, told al-Liwaa newspaper on Tuesday that the ministerial council has finally approved the plan designated to resolve the matter, and that the wastes will be exported outside Lebanon after it is treated.
He told the newspaper that the choice fell upon two companies, British and Dutch, noting that the British company engineers have arrived to Beirut to examine the areas designated as landfills before the trash gets transported by ship outside the country.
Lebanon's garbage crisis continues to persist due to overcapacity. Mountains of garbage were left to pile up in the country's capital and the surrounding mountains, while a lack of suitable alternative dumping grounds has spurred protests over the government's failure to find a solution.
The waste management crisis erupted on July 17 following the closure of the Naameh landfill south of Beirut, which had been receiving trash from the capital and Mount Lebanon since 1997. The landfill was meant to operate for only a few years until a comprehensive solution was devised. But the government has so far failed to resolve the issue.
