Maariv: Northern Settlements Evacuation Plan during the Next War with Hizbullah
Local Editor
The "Israelis" in 14 Zionist settlements adjacent to the Lebanese border are getting ready for emergency as the enemy's army organizes their evacuation during the next round of fighting with Hizbullah.
The "Israeli" Maarive website indicated that the "Israeli" settlers will be transferred to the "Jordan Valley Regional Council" as the settlers of "Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council" are to be evacuated to the Dead Sea during an emergency.
According to Maariv, the contingent plan has been established in the "Israeli" entity's northern councils in coordination with the so-called "Israeli" security establishment.
During the meeting with settlement representatives and emergency crews along with security coordinators, the settlers were put before a picture of the home front preparations for emergency in the light of past lessons and future estimates about Hizbullah's intentions.
Based on the "Israeli" website, about a year ago, Hizbullah began arming with Vulcan missiles within the framework of fighting in Syria. It added that the purpose of the missiles were to cause the destruction of neighborhoods.
However, Maariv stated that the exact number of missiles under Hizbullah disposal was not clear. What is known though, is that Hizbullah possesses short range missiles with warheads weighing from about dozens to hundreds of kilograms and one rocket of such type would cause huge damage once it hits a base or a settlement.
