BEIRUT: Hizbullah representative in South Lebanon Sheikh Nabil Qaouk said Thursday 'Israeli' aggressions on Lebanon "have not gone too far," adding that 'Israel' was avoiding any "provocative actions" until May 15, "the date of the establishment of the Jewish state, where the participation of heads of state including US President George W. Bush MBA-Presidents Sep-07 and French President Nicolas Sarkozy is expected." Qaouk told the Kuwaiti daily Al-Anbaa that the 'Israelis' "realize they are incapable of winning any battles with Hizbullah." While Qaouk doubted any 'Israeli' military strikes against Iran, he conceded the possibility of 'Israeli' entry into Lebanese territories through the eastern section of the South, moving toward the Bekaa Valley and the Masnaa region on the Lebanese-Syrian border, adding that in that case "the Syrian forces will be waiting."
