The Islamic Resistance mujahedeen and the Syrian army thwarted a night infiltration attempt by the Takfiri Daesh [Arabic acronym for "ISIS" l "ISIL"] toward their positions in the Qalamoun Mountain's Jaragir outskirts. The Takfiri militants had been targeted with automatic weapons and artillery shells causing deaths and injuries among them.
At the meantime, there were more injuries among the Takfiri militants as an insurgent gathering in the crossing of al-Zimarani and al-Qasira had been targeted while they tried to provide support for the infiltrating group.
Accordingly, the insurgent group's coordinator acknowledged the failure of its most important attack on Aleppo and the death of 50 militants, where the Syrian army had prior knowledge of the attack.
On the other hand, clashes erupted between the so-called "Committees for the Popular Defense - Kurds," and the Free Army and its allied factions in the Western Front of Azaz in northern Aleppo countryside.
Furthermore, al-Nusra Front [al-Qaeda branch in Syria] and its allied factions clashed with the Daesh- affiliated "Brigades of the Yarmouk Martyrs" in the vicinity of Saham al-Golan in the west of Daraa Governorate causing scores of deaths and injuries.
Nonetheless, in al-Giah village in the western Der Ezzor outskirt, Daesh flogged three brothers - 40 lashes each in addition to a $ 1000 fine for smuggling food to a Syrian army-controlled area al-Jourah neighborhood.
Daesh martyred a young girl and wounded a number of civilians by a rocket-propelled grenade in the al-Tawasoiah neighborhood in al-Shaddadi city in the southern outskirt of al-Hasaka.
A woman was martyred after the bombardment of the town of al-Suqaylabiyah in the western outskirt of Hama. The town was bombed by several rocket-propelled grenades from armed groups' sites.
