Karami: Leave Lebanon Alone!
Source: NowLebanon.com, 23-04-2008
Former Prime Minister Omar Karami said that what Lebanon needs is to be left alone in order to achieve true independence and sovereignty.
Karami emphasized that the opposition was united "with or without organization," because it is based on "unshakeable national principles."
As to whether opposition parties had prevented a worker's strike and demonstration, Karami said the General Workers Union and all Lebanese classes are in "a state of revolution."
"I think that this strike will be, and no one can stop it," he added.
