Head of the Hizbullah-run company Jihad Al-Binaa, Qassem Olleik, said that the government's accusations that Hizbullah is installing surveillance cameras near the airport are untrue.
"The containers belonging to the company where they say a camera was installed have been there for 20 years. Why haven't they raised this matter before?" Olleik said.
"These accusations are being politicized, and we are continuing our work. We are not concerned with what is being said. We do not reply to accusations," he added.
Commenting on Hizbullah's policy of land buying through Jihad Al-Binaa in order to extend the Shia area of control, Olleik said that the party is only present in Shia areas.
"Some pro-'Israeli' factions are trying to make people fear Hizbullah," Aliq said.
