The "Ittihad" Party warns Kabbani of Exploiting position to serve known political Alliance

Meanwhile the Lebanese Ittihad Party (Union Party) warned Sheikh Kabbani against going too far in exploiting his post as "Mufti" to the benefit of a known political alliance in the country.
The party also reminded Mufti Kabbani of Hizbullah's history in resisting and defending Beirut against the 'Israeli' invader and how the resistance confronted the US-'Israeli' plot in June 2006.
"After saying what you said, we hope that God would forgive you for the road you chose to take and for the woes you will bring to Beirut and the Sunnis," the statement concluded.
