Aoun: What Happened Today is Victory for Lebanon

Head of the Free Patriotic Movement MP Michel Aoun said that the events that have occurred in Lebanon have set the country back on track.
"No one in Lebanon is subject to persecution. Yet those who have been widely dissident will be held accountable," Aoun said today in a press conference.
"I warned the Security Council and the international community of this situation if they continued their support of an authority who marginalizes a large part of the people," he added.
Aoun said he hopes that by the end of the day, all roads will be reopened and the sit-in will be dismantled in downtown Beirut.
